This does happen to women after they have had children. The only thing you can really do for it is to practice exercising your PC muscle. The next time you go to the bathroom, stop the flow of urine several times as you go. This basically is your PC muscle that gives you the ability to do so. You can exercise your PC muscle by squeezing that muscle that stops the flow of urine. Hold it for about 10 seconds several times a day. It may help you be able to hold your urine when you sneeze. I hope this isn't too confusing. Good luck and hopefully you have some dry sneezes from now on! THIS IS NEWLY ADDED...IGNORE THE IDIOTS OUT THERE WHO SAID MEAN THINGS...MOST OF THEM I AM SURE HAVE NEVER DEALTH WITH THE LOSS OF A MISCARRIAGE. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!

Not so gross. It happens to a lot of people, when they sneeze, cough, or laugh really hard.

For unknown reasons, some people's support muscles and the muscles that squeeze to close the urethra and hold urine in the bladder become weakened over time. Kegel exercises - exercises to strengthen the pelvic muscles are of great benefit. Give them a try ... I've included the link. :)

I do this alot. It is so aggravating. Have you had a hysterectomy or are you pregnant? Sometimes the muscles can get loose there and it is hard/impossible to contract them when you sneeze or cough. If it becomes worse, you need to see your doctor. They may have to rescribe meds or do a bladder surgery. Good Luck.

I have always wet myself even as a child. I wear a pad. I think we need our bladder tightened, but I am just too chicken to do it. I pee if i laugh too much and I sure do laugh a lot. I try to keep on the funny side of life even if I don't feel like it at times.

It is probably because when you sneeze you tense up your diaphragm to force air out of your nose, and that is near those same muscles that control your bladder. When your bladder tenses up fluid is released.

I'M NO DOCTOR BUT IT SOUND TO ME LIKE EITHER YOU HAVE A WEAK BLADDER OR AN INFECTION. 1ST THING YOU SHOULD DO IS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE A DOCTOR. IN THE MEANTIME YOU SHOULD DRINK 100% PURE CRANBERRY JUICE, AND DO SOME KEGAL (not sure if this is spelled correctly) EXCERISES. GOOD LUCK!

It sounds as if you have a weak bladder. I would go and see your primary care physician to make sure.

Your muscles arent tighting. Do keggles... i think thats how you spell it. Its an excercise you do to tighting your muscles in your urethra, spinxter, your vaginal wall, cervix and uterus. Most women after having childeren do these so that when they get older they dont have to worry about weak bladder.

Stress urinary incontinence is unusual in young women but increasingly common with age, especially with multiparity (lots of kids).

lol don't worry it's not gross, it happens to the best of us..I tend to do it more when I laugh very hard...I think it happens because everything in the body is kind of intertwined and things just happen involuntary
