Fact is Marciano was undefeated. While Ali regained the title how many times (that means he lost it one time more than that). Actually, it was only some part of "The Title". Marciano was The Chamption of the World, not of some part of it. Lot depends on how much room there was to run in; Ali was a good runner. Tyson wasn't much as greatness goes. Marciano said of Ali, "If the fight liasted till someone was knocked out, George Chuvalo would be champion."
But there was another man, who fought a man who had never been knocked down, had killed two men in the ring, former heavy-weight champion of the world, and knocked him out after he got up the first time. When a reporter asked him, "Champ, they say that Cassius Clay may be the greatest fighter who ever lived. What do you think?" He said, "He's not what they called a fighter in my day." Amen.

I hate to admit it but I actually have seen all three fight. People talk about Ali as unstoppable with his Float like a Butterfly/Sting like a Bee and this was pretty awesome. He had so much stamina and was fast and if you are fortunate enough to watch some of his fights with Fraiser or Norton you will see he really showed heart at times.
Tyson threw the best right cross and uppercut with elbow follow up I have ever seen and if he caught you...Lights out!
Marciano was more of the pure athelete having been a professional baseball player who couldn't make it. He took up boxing as something to pay an electric bill and was found to be relentless. Marciano would hit you anywhwere. Your arms were not safe. He would have pounded on Ali's arms until he couldn't lift them any longer similar to the way that Frazier tried and was successful in his and Ali's first fight. Eventually, just as Marciano did with all he fought, he would have won the fight. Ali may be the greatest but Marciano went undefeated fighting the best of his time with only Larry Holmes comming close to his accomplishments. Ali in his prime, Holmes in his prime. Now that would have been a fight.
So I guess Tyson would have a punchers chance, Ali could try and showboat til it got serious and may have a judges chance but when all was said and done, Marcianos heart would bring him victory just as it always did.

Marciano over Tyson, even in Tyson's heyday. Marciano's mentality makes the difference. Tyson after D' Amato died is not even under consideration. Tyson started off in amazing fashion, but his bully heart could not survive hardship and losses. Muhammad Ali was a superb athlete who could have picked apart a relentless Marciano. Ali could take a punch and that fact gives his float like a butterfly and sting like a bee validity. However his manager would have prepared him well for the match and would not have allowed him to fight until he was ready. While Ali was not a power puncher, his constant jab and following rights struck like lightening. And he could hit hard enough. Ali surprised a lot of fighters. Now there are those who like Joe Louis. I believe that Ali was the greatest.

Muhammad Ali will outclass both men. If we were to rank them in order, Ali would be number one followed by Marciano then Tyson will be a ditsant third. All three men were almost invincible at the pinnacle of their respective careers. Tyson had the most power of the three, Ali had the best speed, and Rocky had the best chin. I, however, think that Tyson would defeat Rocky if they were to battle in the ring. Tyson was too relentless and would pummel Rocko in a hard-fought KO win.

Tyson would take it all.
Keep in mind Ali & Marciano came way before Tyson. During that time many advancements in boxing were made. New and better training, different techniques, better equipment, etc. So Tyson would have a huge advantage over them. In all sports the athletes have become bigger and better, boxing is no different.

Tyson doesn't recieve his just dues. He is to blame for taking away his own credibilty. His outrageous antics have overshadowed all his accomplishments and credibility in his boxing career.

In his prime he was unstoppable, he would had knocked out both of them. During there time they were the greatest. Ali had the most overall skill and was the more complete boxer in my opinion but Tyson didnt need that much skill to KO someone with one punch. Again overtime with new techniques and strategies people were able to overcome him.

Marciano was undefeated because he fought in one of the WORST stretches in the division's history. Ali fought in the TOUGHEST stretch(the 70s) when he was PAST HIS PRIME! And yes, he fought for the world, linear championship. He would box both men silly, though Tyson, with his speed and power, would give him anxious moments. Tyson-Marciano would resemble Foreman-Frazier with the smaller Rocky being bounced around like a rubber ball. Tyson by early ko. Bad matchup for Rocky.

Based on overall career Ali-Marciano even. Tyson not in picture. Head to head Ali beats both. Tyson- Marciano even. Who outlasts who? My nod if pressed for a choice goes to Marciano

Ali beats them both by UD or late TKO. TKO on Rocky, UD on Tyson. Tyson TKO's Rock.
