No, but there's a very small chance that the batteries would explode.

No. Batteries do not suck power. They just receive. Try this: Sit on the floor and roll a ball away from you. After it has rolled a ways, then try to re-call it by doing exactly the opposite of what you did to push it away. (Pull your arms backwards). Does the ball come to you? No! Reversing the batteries might just break your flashlight. Either this is a joke, or you need to take a trip back to elementary school for a quick brush-up on elementary physics. People have wondered if it is possible to make what is called a "flash-dark". You might be able to if you can find something that will neutralize the electrons in the light. Then again, I have not studied the behaviors of light very much, but I can say that humanity has yet to make the first "flash-dark".

Actually, if you put your batteries in backwards, it will cause a surgical confusion inside the electronics of the flashlight and cause it's electic neonic compounds to explode. Therefore, the negative quarked energy coming from the explosion of the flashlight will cause all of the surrounding lights in a aproxamately 50-200 yard diameter around it to lose all of thier poitive quarks of electric neonic compunds resulting in a small explosion of the light. So, as you see, technically is DOES take light away, but not in the sense of a dark vacuum, but simply neonic explosions. Unless its noon and you have big windows in your house, then yes the light will be gone. So remeber kids, NEVER put batteries in backwards, or you might cause strange scientific sensations to occur near you, making you very vulnerable to danger. :D *thumbs up*

Depends on the quality of the battery, the battery might explode. Not a wise thing to do.

Yes. Also, if you try to operate it without batteries at all, it takes its light from the sun. For the safety of the earth, don't do it.

Thats a good question. I also wonder if you drive faster then the speed of light and turn on your headlights if the light will be behind you

I tried it, and it didn't work.

The best way to take light out of a room is to suck it out through a straw.

No sorry, but it will create a subspace time warp and tear the very fabric of the universe.

No, the thing just won't work, and it will probably burn out your flashlight and it won't work anymore.
