I love that! Kefira sounds really good for a dog's name, especially for a shih tzu. My dog's name is Bella and my cat's name Mish-Mish (meesh-meesh). Its means apricot in a language, and we named him that beause he is an orange tabi cat! so any name that u are comfortable with can definatley work. I reallly like that name!!

I like it. I did the same thing. I have a 9wk old German Shepherd that i named Dieter von Ulrich. Dieter is a pretty common name in Germany and Ulrich means "wolf hunter" so went with that name.
I am a fan of unique names

No, that's not weird at all. It is very unique and the name has some meaning behind it, unlike names like "Scruffy" or "Rover".

Not at all.
Keffy is a cute name.
I've heard stranger names than that.
Good luck with your new puppy.
