Setting an alarm?

I have a Honda Accord and I have lost the key fob. I know that I can set the alarm on it without the key fob. I have done it so many times on accident. What do I need to do to set it in this fashion purposely?

If it can be set without the remote at all, then locking the door with the key should do it. To test it, roll down the window, get out, close the door and lock it with the key, wait 60 seconds, then reach in through the window, unlock and open the door from the inside. If your alarm was set, the horn should start blasting at this point and you'll have to turn the key in the lock again to disarm it.
