Yes.
One interesting thing about Christianity is that it seems to thrive when it is persecuted.
This was shown in ancient Rome and today in Communist China.
With love in Christ.

Probably in part. Most religions are pretty good at intimidation and extortion. Certainly once they get some secular power they're mostly a-intimidatin' and a-extortin' like nobody's business (don't think for a moment that Protestants have been exempt from this). That doesn't preclude the possibility that people throughout history have been drawn to the Catholic Church (and indeed other religious organisations) by a recognition of deep spiritual truths, however.

I believe that ALL Christian churchs could trace their growth to intimidation and extortion. But then why have real accuracy in their histories? The truth would mess with all the propaganda they have been fed as children.

Yes...intimidation, extortion, theft, military conquest, the Inquisition (which took the land and goods of the people it tortured and killed as "payment" for the "services rendered" and gave them to the Church) and so on.
Thats right...history records how the Church rose in wealth and power through acts of good Christian charity.

that organization began in 325 A.D. as a political entity under Roman emperor Constantine. it was created to strengthen his kingdom. Constantine didn't give a toss about God or His Son so yes, souldiers were used to force people to accept the government/church union.

I believe neither. As a protestant, I believe the RC church was started by St. Peter, and I am frustrated at the panty-waisted people who are trying to denegrate any of the churches, whether they be Catholic, or protestant. If you consider yourself a man, then put up or shut up!

of course, the crusades where brutal. many religions spread through war and intimidation especially. Theres no way of denying it cos its well documented throughout history. Islam spread through war also i dont see the point in denying these things. its better to aknowledge accept and learn from them

Yes. In India, a Roman Catholic boy killed 7 by drunk driving. And his father and local councilor, both roman catholics, say it is God's will. Jesus would hang His head in this chutzpah.
Roman Catholics, as I read from Dan Brown, are basically bad people.
