The Bible also has things provoking violence. Why don't Christians change them? The answer - because they don't need to. Most Christians aren't violent, nor are most Muslims. The difference between the Muslim and Christian nations is that more Muslim LEADERS are violent. There were some pretty nasty Christian leaders in Europe in the 30's, that doesn't mean Christianity was violent then any more than it is now.

Muslims won't be able to and could no longer substitute one note of the Quran. We keep telling you that the Quran replaced into printed over 23 years, each verse coming down in accordance to the certain problem of the time. each and each of the elements that cope with conflict were printed at the same time as Islam replaced into in its early starting up and the dominant pagans were desirous to annihilate them, so those verses want to be taken in context. there is truly some historic evidence that shows that once Islam replaced into at its golden age that Islam is a tolerant faith. So NO we won't be able to substitute one note like others have.

There's nothing the Quran that provokes violence.

The root of Violence is not the Quran, but people who use the name of Islam to gain their means.

Muslims, change the Quran...? Why would they want to do that when they believe that Quran is the word of God?

the "violence" you re talking about is mainly about protecting one's kin, and about maintaining justice , which is often misinterpreted as (lets attack the other to be safe) which is WRONG....
and why change the quoran when one hadn't even understood it the way it's supposed to be?
and lets be honest, religious or not, there will always be people motivated by other things, such as greed lust ,hunger, so on..to commit violent acts...
so lets all read our books and understand them fully, then discuss about changing all of them to one book that just suits us all (is that ever possible?)

It all depends on how the individual interprets the verses. You can read the bible and claim that it promotes violence.
