so my whole family is going to london maybe next week or so for about 10 days or so.
we are looking to go to economy obviouslyl.
which is a better airline .?
british airways or virgin atlantic

Well i'm assuming that you are coming from America...
with regards to bags, virgin atlantic have put more restrictions on baggage recently, and it is a lot lower weight limit than british airways, however id suggest you check the prices of many airlines, maybe virgin/british airways/american airlines/aer lingus, with aer lingus you may have to do a stop in Ireland but it can be much cheaper.

Go for Virgin Atlantic Airlines. In my opinion it's better.

Go Virgin. British Airways is REALLY expensive.
