Because it's full of all kinds of lies that explain everything!
Trying to make sense of the senseless...will give you a headache! Most of these folks will never open their eyes because they know they'd have to think then.

We have many ways to show that what they said had something to do with what was said before the New Testament writings. What we are saying with that is that there were prophecies concerning the messiah, and we can see that Jesus fulfilled the parts He was supposed to fulfill.
There is no way that anyone, with an ounce of Biblical knowledge would say that all the Bible was written at once.
There were parts of the Bible that were written before and parts that were written after Christ. What those writers that you are asking about wrote what they wrote, they showed that Jesus was that promised Messiah and accomplished what it was he was supposed to do.
And then after that, almost all of those Apostles and other writers of the New Testament accepted death rather than to go back on what it was they were saying.
So I have more reason to trust what they said, as fantastic as it is what they have written, than I do to doubt it.

It's because these people, from an extremely young age have been brought up to believe and never question what is written in their holy books... they feel it is wrong to question in anyway the "teaching" of the book.
You see, it's not really like they have a choice. They have this crap beaten into them practically from birth "Jesus this", "Allah that", if youre brought up with this, you practically lose all independant thought on the subject. Just another sad fact... i mean really, there are very few people who can genuinely say that they CHOOSE to believe. You can't "choose" if it's the only option handed to you that you wont be punished for!
People, don't call a child a "Muslim Child" or a "Christian Child"... they are "a child with Muslim parents", or "a child with Christian parents"... Parents who ofcourse are not giving them any other options :P

The "Guys" are God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit, for the "Bible" (a collection of scriptures) has been preserved over time by God. If U refer to the humans who were inspired by God to do the physical writing, we know a great deal about them. But we also know about the condition of the heart of those who try to mock the Scriptures as well. I suggest that if U really want to know the answers, U start studying Scripture & Church History so U can speak intelligently on the subject??? John & Tam

You haven`t quite got the reality of human interaction right by asking this,it is a moral and binding principal that when someone of good moral character gives you a credible testimony that you are obliged to believe that person otherwise society could not function.
That`s the first point, secondly by your question you are wrongly presuming that all those early people`s were in fact either liars or false, again this is an injustice to their humanity and dignity.
Finally many of these writers endured great hardship including persecution and death on behalf of sacred scripture.
If for example you tell me an incident from your life years ago am I entitled to insult you by blatant dis-belief?

If you read the Bible from the front to the back you would find that Old Testament matches up perfectly with the New Testament. The books of the Bible had many writers and was written over approximately 1500 years, yet the same pattern and central theme goes throughout it. God managed to use all those people to reveal his nature to us as well as his ultimate plan to save the world through Jesus Christ.

Here is why most people trust the guys who wrote it.
It works for them. They receive comfort and joy. They enjoy relationships with others who believe the same.
They connect with spirit at an eternal level and feel good.
It fits some people very well.

You've got a book telling people how to live, the best way to put credence to it is to say it's from GOD.
Hmm... maybe I should write something and claim it's the WORD OF GOD and it's to be taken literally and followed by everyone...... that way, in a few thousand years, I can be a best-selling author, too.
Edited to add....
Sentinel.... good moral standing? pedophilia and imbezzlement and a history of violence and oppression on the part of the church is good moral standing? Wow. (Sorry, just saying what comes to mind, I know it's not going to be liked by all, but nothing one says, especially here is liked by all, you're lucky to have a few... just a little commentary on the history of the people who are handing down this "knowledge")

God is in control of everything so he was in control while it was being written. He was also in control when the meetings took place to see which books would be included and which ones would not. Everything happens for a reason and God does have a plan.

I don't, not always.
I read the Bible, try to understand it, and when (not if) I come across something I don't understand, I ask my dad (he knows a lot about those kinds of things), and I ask God (He knows everything!!).
