In my opinion "Lust" is exactly like tobacco addiction (a vice I've kicked).
I knew smoking was bad for me. I got hostel when the non-smokers were smug about "Just Quit" attitude. I witnessed my dad dying of emphysema ... yet I still puffed away.
A big difference is that I smoked during the time when "Smoking" was "Out". My Dad smoked when "Smoking" was in. "Lust" is very similar to when "Smoking" was in. Advertisements are very porno graphical and fuel "Lust". Magazines, Movies, TV, and even the kid’s classrooms promote lust. Every time a group challenges this, well they loose.
The FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has been on a downward spiral since 1960's. Where it was once risky to show a single bed for marriage, we now see images of fornicators.
This will continue until we find ways to "Encroach" the social norms back. This is what they did with smoking. First a baby step ... put labels on it saying it's bad ... tell pregnant women it's bad for the baby ... prohibit smoking in government buildings (yeah, tobacco paid 4 the buildings) ... prohibit smoking in stadiums since taxes (oh, yeah tobacco taxes) paid for the stadium ... now, no smoking in restaurants.
To do this with the "Lust" we'd need $$$ and propaganda groups to lobby. The challenge is against the porno industry (14 BILLION yearly) that wants this lifestyle so much they lure Senators who are on "Protect Children on Internet" committee's to become a child molester themselves. Definitely a tough sell against such strong and rich players.
Should we get a "Prohibition" by the FCC on tempting images (like in the 1920's with alcohol), and then we'd see mobster behavior and rampant sexual slavery. So 'Encroachment' is the strongest way to fight this. Baby steps so that the enemy (porno industry) doesn't sniff it out till its too late.
Ok, to evangilize on individual basis you could try Christopher West's web site. He is a great author and explains stuff in simple language. The best you can do for yourself is to keep those who encourage you to lust to stay away from you. Also living the way you are is a great example for others. Preaching is a fine art of when to say "No" and when to walk away. Remember, just like the smoker unless they are open to quitting, they're going to find a billion excuses to continue what they're doing. So protect you first.

Not your job. Share the gospel first. A saved person will be guided by God to filter things out of their life one by one and He'll do it in His own timing. If you are talking about saved friends, answer any questions they have as best you can, and if you can't, recommend someone you feel is spiritually mature enough to help. I know sometimes we feel so concerned for our friends or acquaintances that we want to actually do something to help them see the light; but, the very best thing we can do for anyone is consistently pray for them. It's a good thing that you care about them. It must be hard to be around them when you are convicted by a sin that they embrace. I'll pray for your circumstance and that God will give you great power of influence among others. God bless you.

Turn off the porn, turn off the R rated TV shows, stop going to see R rated movies and stop hanging around women with skimpy clothes on...... its a MIRACLE how well this simple task works.
If the mind is not shown the "images", then the department "down stairs" stays on lunch break.

Yes, their souls need to be saved from the false concept of sin! Deprogramming is the most effective.

Well, if the risk of catching sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy are not enough to make them think twice, a good old fashioned knot in the tail should do the trick.

relies upon on the guy. the position I stay (Adelaide), i do not see a large distinction between adult males and women at the same time as it includes cellular utilization. truly some the adolescents I see in school look to have their phones in college on facebook, baby, and textual content one yet another from diverse lecture rooms (quite pathetic, for my section). I, a lady, hardly use my telephone, except at the same time as i'm on college journeys, in which case I keep my telephone in my pocket, and at the same time as on the practice or bus I sit on my lap in case my mom texts or calls.

It's a matter of self-control. The monastic practice of "mortification of the flesh" and/or "custody of the eyes" is always my first recommendation.
