It would all depend on what you where going to eat for the rest of the day. f you knew that you where going to eat more salty and sugary foods for the rest of the day then go with the oatso, but to balance your diet you do need some intake of salts and sugars so dont be worried by the small amounts found in the weetabix.

The "or" with no sugar & salt. Salt is man's greatest enemy,
sugar in just about everything we eat now simply adds on the
pounds and of course makes it taste better. They say if you eliminate soda pop you will drastically reduce sugar intake
as well & will help reduce weight with some daily excercise
like a quarter mile walk everyday.

you need some complex carbs for breakfast - old fashioned oatmeal, high fiber whole grain cereal, whole wheat bread, fruit etc.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Oatso would be better for you. Oats are slow releasing carbs and therefore give you a feeling of being full for longer. This will make you less likely to snack in between meals and therefore helping you to lose more weight.

First of all, lose one of the O's to make lose. Otherwise you're loose (the opposite of tight).
You should eat the oats, preferably whole - processed foods are always less healthy than unprocessed foods.

Neither. You need some protein - even if it is an egg or some meat. That's the only thing which will sustain you and get your body prepped for the day.
