Yes, it's an excellent cut for a steak! It's more marbled than a sirloin, but that's why it's so popular for grilling. That marbling contains a LOT of flavor. It's well worth the money.

Yes. It's tender, juicy and delicious, especially when grilled. Most grilling recipes recommend a direct-medium fire, Since the rib eye is tender and marbled, it will require slightly less grilling time per side than a NY strip or sirloin.
For grilling times we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Just enter the type of grill, thickness and doneness you want for each rib eye steak. It will give you instructions for how to grill your rib eyes so that they come off the grill at the same time, each cooked to the desired doneness. It also has grilling tips.
Most recipes recommend letting the steaks stand at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before cooking, and allow them to rest for 5 minutes after to keep them nice and juicy.

A ribeye is an excellent cut of meat... very versatile. New York Strips are excellent on the grill, Porterhouses and T-bones as well, and Tenderloin Steaks are phenominal as long as you know how to cook them. Same goes for Flanks, and Flat-iron Steaks....

Sure. All a ribeye steak is, is a slice of prime rib. Personally, I prefer filet mignon as it's more tender and has a lot less fat on it. Most people I know love ribeyes because of the fat on it and the marbling throughout the meat--gives it excellent flavor.

You bet it is. When you make prime rib it is a rib eye roast that you are making. I just bought two rib eye steaks yesterday for tonight's dinner. Rib eye is flavorful because of the rich marbling.

Cooked properly any cut of beef is god most people rush the cooking stage and ruin the beef. You get out of a piece of beef what you put in.

yeah, although this cut does contain the small piece of bone within the centre of the steak, as the saying goes "the meat closest the bone is the sweetest" or something to that effect. Personally i prefer the filet mignon cut, it is the juiciest and sweetest cut.
