it's normal to get the urge to smoke, especially during stressful times. Direct your mind to something else and never, ever forget how hard it was to quit the first time and you don't want to go through all that again..Good luck from an ex-smoker-it worked for me.

Don't give into the craving. I quit smoking 12 years ago... it gets easier! Now I can't stand the thought or smell of smoke. And I was a heavy smoker!! Best wishes!

I quit cold turkey (that means no aided help) nearly five years ago. It was the most difficult thing to do, and you have to always remember that giving in even once to that craving means you go back to step one. Find other things to do to take your mind off the urge to smoke. I go for a walk, or drink a glass of very cold water to work through it.

You triggered the addiction by smoking that cigarette. Get some fresh air and get some oxygen to the brain to help. Find out what triggered you to smoke anyways.

Please don't go back to smoking. I know you felt the difference in your breathing and how much better you felt. Just think about all the bad points of smoking. My brother has been fighting lung cancer for 9 months now. He said he wished he would of never started smoking.

Just cold turkey is how I got over it, it's hard though. Only you can decide to not smoke. The thing that worked for me though was counting how many days I had been "clean", when your number gets kinda high you won't want to ruin your record and start all over again.

Come up with a new habit to replace smoking. Something else you can do for your nerves. I like flavored toothpicks
