I always file my current taxes online. I found an error in my favor on my 2005 taxes and I'd like to refile online. Does anyone know of a website available?

Since you have already filed them, you would have to file a 1040X, which is an amended return. You are not able to file this one online...you must send it snail mail.

if you found an error on your 2005 tax return you have to file an amended return (1040x) and mail it in. they take 8-12 weeks to process

As you have already filed, you will need to complete a 1040X. You may be able to find a site that will let you prepare the form. However, the filing itself must be on paper and you must mail it in.

No, you'll have to file the amended form by mail, the IRS won't accept an e-file for it.
