You pay a little more for them, but classic Bull Frog is the best. It's a waterproof gel base that dries in less than 30 seconds. I hate waiting around for sunscreen to soak in. Another option is Coppertone Sport. It takes a little longer to dry, but it has all the same features and works great.

Make sure you check the expiration date and buy new bottles every year. SPF 35 and water proof are the best bets.
Reapply after you swim or sweat a lot just to take extra care.
