What ever happened to brand loyalty? It is very frustrating to go to the store only to find that they are no longer going to stock what you are used to using with a more expensive product. Does your grocery store do that?

That just happened to me yesterday. It is disturbing, but I don't think the stores themselves have much say in what they stock.

Oh I hate that too! I finally find something that I could easily buy for the rest of my life and then it's pulled. The latest one for me is that my nearest store quit carrying wasabi mayo. Which means when I do grocery shopping I either have to go without or drive to a different store across town for one lousy thing, and I don't even like that store. So I've given up on it. Sucks, doesn't it?

Yes that has happened many times. Whether it be a certain cereal I like eating or a shampoo that I need for my hair. When that happens I often find myself searching everywhere for the product and sometimes it is very difficult to find it. This also happens in restaurants. When I finally find a dish that I really enjoy, when I go back I find that they no longer have it as an option.

Yes, our stores do that and I HATE it. I try a product that I really like, buy it several times and like it even more. Then, POOF, it disappears like it never existed. I think there are some sources on the Internet for these discontinued products, but I don't know them off hand. Maybe someone has some idea?

It's the complete opposite, but much worse. The grocer near my house only has a very limited variety to none only leaving you the choice between an off-brand with one product or just one name brand with another. And they're not off-brand that we know about, but the foreign ones that we go (huh?) wen we see them. I like the name brands and I liek tochoose between several different name brands (not one and an foreign off-brand). However, this store hasn't been getting a lot of business, so they're sure to close within the next ten years the direction they're headed.

YES, & I do hate! that.
Wal-Mart has done this 2 me numerous times, can't stand it!!
1st; it was my pms med; then a laundry bar soap for stains;
my shampoo & conditioner; then the fabric softener that I have to use cuz of allergies, then the detergent I use for my grdchildren--& the wise a**'es just stopped selling the reg size & only sell the 15.00 bottle so u either have to buy the big bottle or use some other product. I really don't go there n/e more if I don't have to.

Walmart is the worst at that. Just when you get used to something, bam it's gone. No more Marie Callendar's cornbread mix. I think if they don't sell enough of it, or can't get the manufacturer to come to their terms for prices, they use the shelf space for something else. Yes, very frustrating.

Yes, I had this experience too. I was so upset, as I only trust that brand. I went through many shops, and found it! DING! After that, I became loyal customer in that shop hehe.. funny I know lol
