Yes it does, but prior to that, the pig was the animal offered up to the God Set, who is the God of all things wicked and evil, for this reason the christians called set, satan, and forbid all to eat pork.
But they do anyway.

Historically, most religious traditions arise from necessity. Six thousand or so years ago, pork did not take preservation well, and was subject to go bad more often than other meats, which were often preserved by drying. Refrigeration did not exist, and therefore people had no way to store food for long periods of time.
Meanwhile, the Bible, the Torah and the Koran were not just books of faith, they often contained laws for living which also spoke of sanitation and prevention against disease. Since pork went bad it was considered unsafe to eat and therefore unclean. So it was that pork was very much like poison in that matter.

The dietary laws mentioned in Leviticus are for the Jews. Those laws were given for very practical reasons. Most of the animals in the list that are unclean are scavengers. God did not want the Israelites to eat someting that would possibly make them sick. Jesus and his disciples were Jews and followed the dietary laws to the letter including not eating pork. However, After Jesus' death and resurrection Peter and the church leaders had a council about what Jewish laws should be passed down to the new Christian church. It was decided that only one dietary law would remain. That of not eating food offered to Idols. All other food is acceptable for Christians to eat. Check Acts 15 for the whole argument and desicion. So, as Christians we are allowed to eat pork. hope this helps.

I suggest some discernment here on the point. Under the law of Moses in Leviticus, the Jews were not to eat cloven foot (pig; pork). However, that law was done away when Christ died on the cross. (Most)Christians can pork, Acts 10, 1 Tim 4:3-4.

I don't know about pork but Leviticus has problems with a few animals:
Leviticus 11:13 They are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the osprey, the kite, the falcon according to its kind, every raven according to its kind, the ostrich, the nighthawk, the sea gull, the hawk according to its kind, the owl, the cormorant, the ibis, the water hen, the pelican, the carrion vulture, the stork, the heron according to its kind, the hoopoe, and the bat. All winged insects that go upon all fours are an abomination to you. Yet among the winged insects that go on all fours you may eat those which have legs above their feet, with which to leap on the earth. Of them you may eat: the locust according to its kind, the bald locust according to its kind, the cricket according to its kind, and the grasshopper according to its kind. But all other winged insects which have four feet are an abomination to you.
And also states:
Leviticus 19:19 You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; nor shall there come upon you a garment of cloth made of two kinds of fabric
However :
"Slaves you may possess, but make sure they are foreigners. You may also make slaves of the natives who dwell among you and from their children who are born and reared in your land. You may own them as chattels and leave them to your sons as their heriditary property, making them slaves forever. But you should not lord it over your own countryman, your own kinsmen." Lev. 25:44
So we do need to interpret the bible rather than follow it blindly.

Why is it that a majority of people on Yahoo Answers think they know it all. The Bible does say that you shouldn't eat pork. Because, it is unclean. But the bible replaces the word pig with swine. Why don't all of you who said the bible doesn't say anything about do your research before posting anything.

No! The Apostle Peter under inspiration proved that point!
Acts 10:9-15 9Next day, while they were still on their journey and had only a short distance to go before reaching the town, Peter went to the housetop at about the sixth hour to say his prayers. 10He felt hungry and was looking forward to his meal, but before it was ready he fell into a trance 11and saw heaven thrown open and something like a big sheet being let down to earth by its four corners; 12it contained every kind of animal, reptile and bird. 13A voice then said to him, 'Now, Peter, kill and eat!' 14But Peter answered, 'Certainly not, Lord; I have never yet eaten anything profane or unclean.' 15Again, a second time, the voice spoke to him, 'What God has made clean, you have no right to call profane.' (NJB)
Acts 15:27-29 27We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, by word of mouth, tell you the same things. 28For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us, to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things: 29That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well. (DRC)

The Old Testament had all the dietary laws in it forbiding pork. When Christ arrived, he preached the opposite and said " It's not what goes into the mouth that defiles you. It is what comes out of the mouth." This is paraphrased but I believe what he was getting at was the law had changed with his arrival. That dietary laws didn't automatically mean you were clean. The spirit is what gets defiled by evil, not the food you eat.

No, Mark 7 and numerous other places in the New Testament say its not what you put in your mouth that defiles you its what comes out of your mouth that defiles you. As for me, Iam a Catholic Christian and I dont really care for pork or fish for that matter and really dont eat that much meat to begin with.

When Jesus sent fourteen devils into a herd of pork, he did it to make a point: Namely, nobody in their right mind eats pork.
Now days anything goes.
