Do you have directions for a simple casserole dish? I wanted to try something that someone actually has eaten rather than looking online.

At a cover dish meal @ our church several years ago, someone brought this dish & after getting the recipe, I've been making it ever since......I call it "Bean casserole" & it is simple to make. Brown 1lb hamburger or sausage w/chopped onion. Stir in 1 lg can of Bush's baked beans ( I like the country style or homestyle) Place in casserole dish & top w/ 1 can fried onion rings. Bake @ 350 for about 30 - 40 minutes.......Yummy!!

1-2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic (optional or to taste)

Remove from the heat and slowly add in the milk.
Return to the heat and whisk until thickened and the sauce comes to a boil, then season with salt and pepper.
Add in mushrooms, cheddar cheese and tuna; mix to combine, then add in the cooked egg noodles.
Transfer to a baking dish.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs then Parmesan cheese if using, then drizzle with melted butter.

If you like Mexican food, try this one, its gone over very well w/ everyone I'v ever made it for.
Enchilada cassarole.
1 family size can Cream o mushroom soup,
1lb browned hamburger meat
2 small cans of diced green chiles
1 bag of chedder cheese
1 large bag of tortilla chips.

crumble the chips up and spread 3/4 of them on the bottom of a large cassarole pan, in a large mixing bowl combine browned hamburger, the rest of the chips, green chiles, not quite all of the can of mushroom soup, and 3/4 of the cheese.
Pour over chips in pan and bake for about 45 min at 350 degrees, take out and spread the rest of the cheese ontop, turn oven off and poke it back in for 10 mins or till cheese melts.
You can switch the hamburger out w/ chicken, and the cream of mushroom out w/ cream of chicken soup.
