first of all, i am not a poser. i just want to get some new looks.
my old look seems so plain... okay.. so i really wanna have bangs but i wear glasses so my bangs might get in the way..you cant really ask me to wear contacts. i dont really want to have my hair cut short since i like it long... i can have it short but only below the shoulders..are there specific type of bangs that might look good despite of my glasses? my hair is layered and it ends a little above my elbow...

Okay well first of all I suggest you JUST GET CONTACTS!! And after that why don't you have layered bangs. Click the link below.

And then you can start as short as you want or as far down as you want for the look and usually looks better when it starts at the roots and goes down the whole length of hair. Long hair looks nice with this hairstyle.
But since you want the emo look, you will have to get contacts if you want it. Or laser surgery. Anyways cut your hair so it just brushes your shoulder (bangs the same length) and have your hair blonde, but not platinum, with a bit of brown in it, then get black highlights and wear thick black eyeliner without lipstick or with very suddle lipstick. No eyeshadow.
Oh you added that it's black and straight. Go with the last one I added (right above this) but keep your hair black and add blonde (not platinum) highlights that are very suddle.

get a crooked fringe cut, or asymetrical. have it go diagonally down across your forehead, that's pretty emo. if you get it done short enough it shouldnt interfere with your vision or your frames. another emo thing is big blocks of colour, so maybe you could keep your style the same but just get some bubblegum pink stripes in there somewhere. Pigtails are also a little bit emo if you get the outfit and makeup right.

1- get a fringe any type like side or front
2- im not saying cut you hair short im saying get lots of layers
3- dark brown and put a little bit of black blue or red in it some where
