We are getting closer all the time and are now closer than ever before, just look at what Jesus told his disciples would mark the "last days" All the things that Jesus said would happen in these "last days" are happening now, and these are the sign that we are indeed in the last of the "last days"
(Matthew24:7) Nation would rise against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom 10 million died in the 1st world war today war and fighting continues to rise so that there are more and more people dyingThere would be food shortages
There would be earthquakes in one place after another,do you remember about a year ago the tsunami that was caused by an earthquake under the sea?millions of people lost their lives then too.
(Matthew24:12)
There would be increasing of Lawlessness
(Luke21:26) Men would be faint out of fear, and there certainly is a lot of fear in the world today people fear not having their homes secure from intruders that wish to take their belongings or that would maybe hurt them they fear cancer and other pestilent diseases and flus like fear of the bird flu epidemic that recently swept the earth
(Luke 21:11) There would be pestilences in one place after another there are many health problems and diseases that have been dealt with in the past and people had thought that these had been dealt with yet they are a problem again for they have become resistant to the medications that were used against them before diseases like cholera malariahepetitesA B C D &E I Personally lost 2 Grandmothers to Cholera
(Revelation11:18)
The ruining or the earth would be going on in the "last days" as little as 100 years ago if you told someone about the earth being ruined they could not understand how you could possibly ruin the earth, yet today we know very well how it is being ruined, The air we breathe, the water we drink and the land we grow our food is grown on are being polluted. It is so aerious that a scientist warned:"I believe that continued pollution of the earth, if unchecked, will eventually destroy the fitness of this planet as a place for human life." Many animal species have already been extinct and more are following in that course, so you see we really are in the end times because the things that mark the end days that Jesus told his disciples are here right now so yes we definately are very near the end!And it is therefore vital that we kearn and know the truth about God and his son Jesus Christ(John3:16) and that we put our life in order to be in line with what God requires of us so that we can receive life the real life this life we have now is nothing like the real life should be.

The Bible gives many examples of signs that should warn us of the coming end of the age. Six such signs are given by Jesus, two characteristics are given by Paul, and eleven other occurrences are given by the prophets to occur prior to or soon after the end of the age. While we are also told we will not know the time of the End, God obviously wanted us to know when that time was getting closer. As the Christian church is increasingly drawn into the interfaith movement, and as more and more churches go into isolation, preparing to sleep through the growing attacks on their faith, perhaps God knew it would take a few signs to wake us up and remind us that we have work to do.
It is increasingly obvious that the time of our Lord's coming is drawing near. Prophecy is being fulfilled daily, and at a faster pace than ever before. Whether you believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, or believe Christians will be witness to the full tribulation, wrath, and final judgments, matters not.
Is Jesus coming soon? Can we set a date? No, we can't do that. But He's coming soon to take us home. Jesus is coming soon to put an end to sin and suffering. He's coming soon to rescue His people from the terrible conditions of the last days and from this world. How do we know Jesus is coming soon? The signs! There are signs of His coming! We are now experiencing the events that were long predicted. Just before Jesus comes there will be such a scenario of developments that are called Signs or Warnings to all believers that the end of the world is nigh, is close at hand.

Many of the prophecies of the Bible are coming true every day which is a sign that the end times are either here or very close. Many times Sects, Religions and Fanatics have predicted the end of the world all of course were wrong.. There is no specific time period of when the world will end. Only God knows when. Mankind has been trying for centuries to decipher the Bible to see when that date will be. My faith is such that I believe we are in the end times and the day will come when Jesus comes back to get his saints. The world is not going to end as people think. The book of revelations is very precise about what the state of the world will be.

Why would we be? Jesus just left a couple thousand years ago, the Old testament existed 4000 years before Jesus. Why even go through the trouble of changing the book and the religion if you're only going to wait a couple millenia to do the end game. Makes relatively little sense to me. In the vastness of time, I'd imagine that he'd wait at least 10000 years, probably more.

Well, if Jesus will bring the end when he comes, and if his coming is a certainty in the future, then it stands that we are getting closer to the end.

purely God is familiar with the time, not the angels in heaven nor even the Son. besides the undeniable fact that, human beings have been predicting the arrival of Christ and the top off the international because his assention into heaven. for that reason, we are to continually be waiting, it may be right this moment, the following day or one thousand years for now. it is extra possibly that we are going to be going to work out Christ formerly he includes see us, yet back, we would desire to be waiting, because of the fact not all human beings gets a forewarning of our end.

If Jesus is going to come back to help us, where was he on 9/11? Any of the World Wars? I believe in Jesus, but I think we're pretty much on our own to make what we can out of this world.

I suspect that all of those gullible people standing in line with big smiles waiting for Jesus to come are going to be very disappointed.
