God, our loving Father, made Man and Woman flawed. He could have made us perfect but chose not to. Don’t bother asking why. Just having a bad day, maybe. God would not make a very good clinical psychologist. With forethought if not malice he laid temptation in our path. Just what the Lord’s Prayer, not yet written, asks him not to do. “Lead us not into temptation,” says the Lord’s Prayer. If Adam and Eve had had the Lord’s Prayer to work with things might have turned out differently. Anyway, being omniscient God knew in advance what kind of human dynamics he was setting in motion by introducing temptation. If he didn’t know he could have and should have. Big surprise: being flawed and curious and weak when it comes to temptation, we bit the bait. Bad news. That automatically made all God’s beloved children, present and future, smart as all hell, but sinners, candidates for eternal punishment in Hell. Hell is a place God created...he created everything, remember...to punish human beings who behave like human beings rather than twitty little angels. Hey, God, if you wanted twitty little angels why didn’t you make them instead of us? And don’t blame it all on the Devil. Nobody said you had to make a Devil to keep things screwed up.

Anyway, since all us weak humans became sinners overnight, because God threw temptation in our way, God decided he had better take a shot at correcting the situation. (A delegation from the garment industry came to God’s throne in Heaven and prayed for him to keep people ashamed of their nakedness since it would be good for business. God seems to have accommodated them.)

Did God correct the sin situation by the simple expedient of making a human recall, like a carmaker would do, fix or replace the faulty part and send us safely out into the world again? No.

Instead he decided to bring his one and only Son into the action and teach his Son something about godmanship (if that’s not a self-contradicting word).

“Here’s the plan,” God the Father said to God the Son. “I’m going to send you to Earth, specifically to Judea where my Chosen People the Jews are. While you are there you can do some teaching and healing and other miracles so that at least a few of the folks will get the idea of who you are without you walking around bragging about it. But your main chance will be to get yourself arrested, charged with disturbing the peace or something, and crucified. Crucifixion, in case you haven’t been paying attention to what’s going on down there, Son, is the way the Roman governors of Judea punish and dispose of their criminals. What they’ll do is nail you wrist and foot to a wooden cross and leave you there until you die. I can tell you, Son, it is going to hurt like hell. But that’s the point. You’ll be a blood offering. To me, God. Because of your token suffering on the cross for a few hours (I’ll see that it doesn’t last too long) you will in a figurative way be accepting the punishment for everybody’s sins, present and on into the eternal future. Your suffering on the cross will be in lieu of my sending folks to Hell as punishment for their sins. Get it?”

Sa E

God knows everything and controlls all of time, so he made an Angel knowing beforehand that the Angel "He Created" he would then cast from heaven to become Satan and torture all non-believers in Hell. Yup this is the nice thing you all pray to.

No, it quite is perversity in a nutshell. A zombie by definition, is a useless human being presented again to existence with out speech or free will. Jesus is a supernatural being who manifested human type, and grow to be resurrected as area of the Holy Trinity, the Savior component of God. There is going the zombie and 'personal father' definition as proper to Jesus Christ. The verbal change with Jesus isn't telepathic, it truly is tactile, experience oriented, and customarily vocalized. There is going the telepathic implication. Jesus does no longer eliminate the evil spirit interior of you, you eliminate it by Jesus (evil action simply by software of free will). The mainstay of the paintings is as a lot because the fellow despite the indisputable fact that, no longer the supernatural. The tree of understanding is symbolic as well because the fruit, Eve ate of the the fruit (the ensuing action of temptation) of the tree of existence/understanding and grow to be punished by this result (on the instantaneous made attentive to her nakedness, struck from the backyard). There is going the telepathic and 'magical tree' implication. The snake aka a creature with out compassion, judgment of proper and incorrect or goodness, is symbolic of the interior and exterior workings of Lucifer. In sum, the completed premise is pretend, illogical, and neglects symbolism in finished. it truly is in basic terms an attempt (and not in any respect a very powerful one) to degrade those issues that we've not the mentality nor capacity to appreciate totally. also, you inadvertently established a base for information of and not in any respect the alternative. Reread your piece, and the ensuing responses. God bless.

I'm a little concerned about the melodrama. Is this something that sits alongside the romance of the meeting of molecules in the organic soup as an explanation for what evolution is all about?

Firstly, a clinical psychologist is a therapist who deals with the branch of psychology dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of personality and behavioral disorders. Personally I put the hierarchy (rule by priests) as those who have OCDs (have to tap on furniture a certain number of times before making decisions, have an excessive interest in the morality of other people's body fluids) and the anarchy as those who have passive aggressive personality disorder.

As for Genesis 2, I can't see the word "alone" in the original Hebrew in verse 18. I also can't see the word "not" in verse 17 where it is translated as "you must not eat from the tree of ..." This could very well be because the not is incorporated into one of the other words in the Hebrew text. I believe that the text has been changed in this case (and it would naive to think that the entire text of Bible hasn't been subject to tampering by pagans looking for a good game to play "honestly" according to their reading of it - you're looking at the kind of knowledge a good clinical psychologist would have at their disposal in order to decipher the literary style of the Bible) in order to reflect reverence for marriage so that Christianity can make money marrying people who would otherwise be gay. In reality, the Bible portrays marriage as being a bit of a mixed bag.

Who says God is omniscient? Find a scripture that says that before you pin it on Christianity. I reckon that's Judas-sassity - Satanism posing as Christianity.

Who says humans are as smart as all hell? If you belong to any secret societies or cults, that would really explain your approach. That doesn't make you smart, unless you value the killer instinct when it comes to massacring a text without even reading it. There's no way you can appreciate metaphor (God speaks, Jesus is the Word, metaphor means bearing the meaning from one word to another) if you are involved in a cult, which you pretty much need in order to be involved in this guilt-sharing ritual known as a paid job in the public liturgy of democracy, or whichever mythology you personally live in.

Why would God recall us like a car? Human beings are capable of being messengers (angels). A demon is a distributor of fates and fortunes. The existence of demons means waiting your turn to be a spark plug if you participate in superstition. Any form of foretelling the future, including the likelihood of getting your next pay cheque, is superstitious and divination. God doesn't think of us as vehicles with distribution capacities in us based on sequencing. We are messengers. What makes you think that Adam got such a bum deal? He got what he asked for, right? Or are you going to requisition somebody's life already lived (whoever it is that we are talking about) in order to prove your own arguments in life? Leave the dead out of the picture! Jesus doesn't count. It's open slather on explaining his life, as far as I'm concerned.

Man and woman were not flawed until they chose to sin.
It was a freewill choice, and in the face of temptation they chose against God's will. God did not make their decision, they made it on their own.
Satan had chosen against God already and was the agent involved in the seduction of mankind, by Satan's freewill, not God's design.
Jesus Christ is God revealed in human flesh, reference "In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, and the word became flesh and dwelled among us." In Isaiah it is written "Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and His name shall be called many names, mighty God, everlasting Father." God Himself did all He could do, even the price of the cross to save us from our own bad choices.

You are not clever as you claimed but i......t.

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Do not think that you are more better and intelligent than God. Are you with the same power with God? I am ashamed of you.

nope.

God made man and woman. gave them the same free will we have now. they screwed up.

God doesnt tempt us to sin. satan does. just as he temped adam and eve.

heaven was created by God for the sole purpose of housing satan and his demons. if we do not hand over our sins to Christ, we cannot chill with God in heaven, because he cannot be around sin.

God didnt create a devil. lucifer turned himself into the devil, by CHOOSING to think hes more rad than God.

what Christ did on the cross wasnt just figurative. he literally died, went down into hell where the people he died for should of gone, and took the keys off of the devil, and said "i am the way, the truth and the life. no one can come to the father except through me". this means that if you come to Christ and give him all your sin, so it can die with christ, you can be revived through christ's ressurection, and be able to chill with God in heaven because Christ, with the keys to hell, locked the gates up for you, cuz you came to Him.

You have a right to think what you want. God gave you the free will to do that. But this is NOT what Christianity is all about.
