Islam and ancient Greek thought share an interest in what is unchanging and static.
This is possibly a bit of an obvious thing to say as, according to Nietzsche, philosophers tend to mummify their subjects. They are interested in the being, but the subjects to do with becoming elude them. These include: growth and procreation.
I do not understand why Islam is proud of its treatment of women. It's formulaic and similar to how the West really works anyway. The main difference between Islam and the West is that Islam is brutally honest about what it believes. The West is busy trying to pretend everything's open for freedom of belief (in practice, it works quite differently).
For example, in Daniel 11:2, the shiny man, who I think is a demon because he has a voice like the soud of a multitude and he inspires fear in Daniel, says: "Now then, I tell you the truth." The demons are brutally honest, however their honesty can be rather sick-making. You can wonder - how could you even say that with a straight face? This applies to parts of the book of Revelation which I think was also narrated in large part by the demons. The foremost prophets of God are privileged to receive communications from the other side and convey them so as to provide more information about what we, as Christians, are fighting (the wicked spirits, not flesh and blood).

I had Islamiat as one of 10 subjects in my Secondary School. We were taught that we respect all our prophets (Arabic: Nabee), particularly the ones who are blessed with "Books".
Muslims believe such individuals were assigned a special mission by God (Arabic: Allah) to guide humanity. Besides Muhammad (pbuh), this includes other Abrahamic prophets such as Moses and Jesus.
According to the Islamic creed, the essence of all the prophets’ messages is what Islam calls for: worshipping God alone and rejecting false deities.
Islam is the religion of all prophets in human history; all of them called for beliefs which Islam calls for, and so they declared belief in Islam.
The message of Islam resembles the messages of all previous prophets of God. The Qur'an states: "Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian, but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim (submission to God's will), and he was not one of the polytheists" (3:67).
There were at least 4 Sharia which were revealed to Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. Each of the prophets is believed to have been assigned a special mission by God to guide the whole or a group of the mankind, depending on the mission assigned to each.
God is believed to have instructed each of these prophets to warn his community against evil and urge his people to obey God. Although only 25 prophets are mentioned by name in the Qur'an, a Hadith mentions that there were 124,000 of them in total throughout history, and the Qur'an says that God has sent a prophet to every group of people throughout time, and that Muhammad (pbuh) is the last of the Prophets.(16:36)
In general, Muslims regard the stories of the Qur'an as historical. The message of all the prophets is believed to be the same. Many of these prophets are also found in the holy texts of Judaism (The Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings; collectively known as the Old Testament to Christians) and Christianity.
In the light of above information it is quite natural for us Muslims to defend the other faiths and vice versa. However, due to some myopic views and also continuous misinformation being fed against Islam, it is indeed very heart warming and refreshing to see someone openly speaking out the matter the way you did. I commend you for your conviction and courage to make it public.
Thank you sister, we are with you. Let all the religions given their proper respect and let humanity prevail over petty differences!

The same reason I defend Islam, Christianity, and a host of other really nonsensical religions. When people badmouth something mindlessly it is usually for the sake of vanity. They believe that they're right--they have the answer, and everybody else involved in whatever disagrees with them is totally wrong. Instead of focusing on the shortcomings of other beliefs, people should focus on the shortcomings of their own--and better them. Accosting an alien cultural, or religious group simply to promote your own is counter-productive and degrades the value of your character. And defending the right of others to believe in silly, mindless, superstitious things is a noble trait of character in a person, you should be proud of it.

Way to go little sister. I do it too. We should. This is an international forum. Peace between Christians and Muslims would be very good for the whole world. Combined we represent about 4 billion people worldwide. Imagine what could be done if we were all working towards peaceful goals using peaceful means? Good people like you are helping to make it happen.

Maybe because Jesus keeps telling you to love your enemies and do good to those who dispitefully use us.
Maybe because some of what Mohammed originally taught was from the Torah and the Old Testament.
Maybe because Jesus tells us not to judge people by appearances.
Maybe because you know that God loved the world (including Muslim countries and people) so much that He gave his only begotton son, that whosoever (infidel or muslim or hindu or American or Iranian or child or adult) believes on Him is given the promise that they will not perish, but have everlasting life.
Maybe you are concerned for the souls of islamic people, and for the souls of Christians.

Why are you inquisitive approximately shariah regulation. as much as I disagree with it, its imposition into the western worldwide is non-existant. Arab women human beings in the middle east do no longer take care of it as a countrywide subject the two. Muslim regulation will of course say you need to stay Muslim and stay far off from element which will trifle your faith. i'm an ex-Muslim, and my family contributors has on no account theory-approximately desirous to tension kaafirs to develop into believers, by fact they only do no longer care. That is going for terribly almost everyother Muslim i've got ever met in England.

Firstly, I want to say thank you for seeing the real truth of Islam...behind all the terrorism that has been causing so much disaster to us Muslims.
Secondly, maybe it's because you know how to tolerate, and unlike others, you actually understand.
Again, thank you, and may God guide you.

1. because you're trying to be objective? Islam is not to be blamed, some people who misused Islam is to be blamed.
2. Islam and Christianity came from the same root, there are tons of similarities between the two religion. Both basically belief in the same God, but express it differently.
