Have you ever seen two siblings who loved each other so much that they gave each other hugs all of the time? I feel so blessed by God that I have my 3 year old daughter and my 1 year old son. Since the day my son was born, my daughter has loved him and looked out for him. It amazes me how children are. How can people harm them or think of harming them, much less wish it upon others? Are they dead inside to think of this about innocent and defenseless children? I saw this movie today as well, about the Amber Alert. I forget what it's called, but it was the story of Amber. I felt so sad because I just could not imagine having to deal with that. Who else feels the same way?

i feel so calm and exited when i see childrens playing, laughing and hungging just like they live in their own world. a world that full of peace, laughing, happiness and exitement. but i feel sad when i think about childrens who suffering because of war, hunger and ect. i can't imagine those poor kids have to suffered just after they born. i hate those who willingly bring any harm to those children. just like what happen in vietnamese war, higashi and hiroshima (almost 50 years ago), iraq, palestine, and ect. not only wars, it's also include child molester, abusement, rape and ect. how could they kill or harm those innocent childrens.

maybe when something happen just like in 'children of men' movie (18 years after the last baby born), everyone in this world will appreciate those innocent children. I can't stop crying when i watching it.

I didn't see the movie but I agree with your sentiments. The people who are so keen on warfare are, by and large, the people who've never had direct experience of it (and usually manage to keep their families out of harm's way, too).

I think that Donald Rumsfeld's comment about 'Freedom's Messy' ought to come back to haunt him. What a pity that there isn't a provision for putting him and his cohorts on trial as war criminals.
