i have a 12 gauge wingmaster 870. I think it is the most reliable shotgun ever made.

I have the 870 express and it is a darn reliable gun. If need be I could use it as a canoes paddle and the thing would still fire without a problem.

I had a Nova pump gun for awhile and it shot really great, but I sold it for the 870 Supermag. I think both shotguns shoot well, but I prefer the 870. The 870 is built to last--has many options and as far as I can tell the BEST PUMP shotgun made.

For pure reliability, I like the remington 870 series shotguns, and the mossberg 500 series shotguns.I'd rather shoot my remington than my mossberg.

I like the Ithaca over and under Field grade, Skeet grade and Trap grade....... Also side by sides L. C. Smith, Winchester 21, Fox and Parker....... Mossburg 3" Pump..... Ithaca 37 Pump.......Remington 1100 Semi-auto.....Browning Sweet Sixteen Semi-auto....... I never shot the 870 but it has a good reputation.......

I have a mosberg 935 that shots a 3 1/2 Mag its a great gun.
I also have a 1937 browning in 12 ga that has been passed down from my grandfather to my father and now me. and the gun still kills birds today and hopefully for many years to come

I'm with WWD. I like side by side doubles, but I am a old and funky traditionalist. I have used both a Winchester and Mossberg pump, and would give a slight nod to the Mossberg for handling.
