Prom is coming up....I want to ask this girl but I know she has a boyfriend. But she's not going to prom. That got me thinking...Is she about to break up or something? I doubt it.

But anyway if I did ask her to prom, I'd imagine she would say no if she's still taken. But how would that make her feel? Obviously awkward but do you think she would hate me after that?

Instead of asking her. Why not just ask her to save a dance for you. Tell her that she has always been a special friend and that you are going to miss seeing her after graduation even though she is not your girl. Tell her some of your plans for the future and maybe she will share some of hers.

P.S. If you are only going to study auto-mechanics at the JR College you may want to omit the last statement.

Ever heard of the word REGRET?
for the past several years i have been haunted by REGRETbecause of the things that i failed to ask because i was to shy, too dumb and oh too respectful...
Asking her out to the prom is not the same as asking her to cheat on her boyfriend unless of course you have other motives (which deserves another answer). The decision is still up to her, the important thing is that you ask her nicely and that you are ready for whatever answer she gives you...

at least you tried right... and who knows?

Geez dude, be a man and just ask her. the worst thing that'll happen is that she'll say no and u'll feel like sh*t. but im sure she wont hate u for it, girls LIKE guys that are confident and honest.. asking a girl with a bf to prom just proves to her that u got the balls and u never know she might even say yes

I dont think of shes a hoe, because of the fact im like that too. the difficulty along with her is she isn't the jealous sort, so she doesnt think of you will sense a manner approximately her requesting a experience because of the fact if that become her on your shoes she does no longer. She asked in front of u , that exhibits its a delightful subject, she isn't being sneaky or something. I dont understand how else to describe it. attempt to get to understand her and notice. U ought to start stressful while she start up doing **** at the back of your back

Well, the right thing to do would be not to ask her because it seems you don't know how her boyfriend may react. If you ask her out, you risk confrontation. SHE'S TAKEN!!!! Go out and find another girl to ask. Now, how hard was that?

she might be flattered. if she is not going ask her as a friend and keep it as freinds. prom is a big thing. and just keep it as friends cause it is not fair to put her in a postion that she can't make a choice.

Maybe it will not work with her b/f and you might have built a bridge to something more.

There is nothing wrong with asking.. and she wouldn't hate you if you ask her... Imagine that you've been asked to go date by someone, eventhough you say no but you didn't feel anything bad about the person....

Just ask her to go as a friend, it happens. And then there won't be any risk of her hating you. I don't think she would anyway, but awkwardness, probably.

Just ask her. You're young, its not that serious.

You don't want to be at your 10 year reunion, wondering what would have happened if you had just asked her then.

NO REGRETS!
