Well, basically, I am about to graduate college and since I'm leaving I wanted to send some letters to a couple of my guy friends letting them know that they have been really great friends and I appreciate their friendship. Do you think I should send the letters or am I just wasting my time? Do you think this would freak them out, or would they appreciate it? Also, I don't want to cause any drama with their girlfriends or make their girlfriends jealous or anything...It's not like I'm writing these guys love notes or anything, but I'm still a little aprehensive. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! :)

well i really understand whats on your mind. for me i wouldnt freak out but i would be touch why writing a letter is an old tradition of sending or transmitting thoughts, ideas, feelings & etc.ok going back why it would be very touchy on my well writing is hard than typing heheh now a days people are so high-tech like computers , cellphones and other stuff in computer when you made a wrong spelling,all you gonna do it press backspace then walla erase with no trace heheh even in cellphone and other gudget but with a pen and paper it is different....the way of handwriting with no erasures nice and sweet messages & line that shows effort and it is worth to keep it as a remembrance or a proof of your friendship. and it shows how special the reciever is.
anyway if u gonna give a letter to a guy with a girlfriend.there are some few questions tobe consider:
1.how long did the guy and u become friends?
-if its long and he knows you well then go send him.
2.do his girlfriend knows you? and does she hate or likes u?
-just to avoid thier girlfriend to freakout or get jealous..
3.do you sure the reciever (guy) likes you as a friend / more than a friend?
-well just to avoid misuderstanding (make sure the lines are just for merely friendly thoughts) because u dont know maybe the guys hide or keeps his feeling then ofcourse after you gave him a letter he might think thats a sign or hint. & you know what i mean...
but overall brilliant idea heheh only few gurl i know does that...

It sounds sweet, and I was about to say that because it is not a crush-type thing then it is okay, however, since you mentioned that they all have girlfriends, you might want to be careful about it. Why don't you send them an email instead of a letter. I know it is not as personal, but I think that is a good enough reason to do it, considering their girlfriends might think an email is okay but a letter might be just that, too personal.

Yea, a letter is a nice gesture, i would not get "freaked out" by it. But as for the girlfriend situation, mention them in the letter and make it sound as if you wish them the best

I don't think any of them would be freaked out. As for the girlfriends, I guess if you included a little about them in your letter it would put them at ease a bit more.
You could also have a party and invite them all and tell them personally.

All I can say is be yourself, one thing is do you know the gfs? , if yes they should understand if not, just be yourself...most of my friends are female (hence why I'm single), and have to deal with that...ends up being jealously but anyways, just got a tat of a skull with 2 dragons the otherday, got judged because of that by 2 friends, screw them....if they can't accept you...move on (if that makes since)

well aren't you just adorable !. I'm one of those guys who loves to be as hard as a rock inside and out. but i love it when my friends that are girls do stuff like that, it dose mean allot , and its really sweet of u girls, yeah u should do it , its a great way to show your friendship , and loyalty , now it would be weird as hell if i where to do that to a guy friend , but ur a girl so its kool.

guys like getting notes from girls. even if they say they don't. we still like it. but just be careful of what you say. You don't want to say anything that will make him think that it means more than just thank you.

Write to them, you are sincere and I don't think they will freak out or get into problems with their gf's.. Just write straight as it is..
