I bought a small container of strawberry yogurt two days ago, hadn't opened it until today, and then discovered that the best befor date was for the 11th...todays the 14th..does this mean its just not as fresh, or actually going bad?

It hasn't gone bad, as long as it wasn't opened until now. When it says it's best purchased by - that doesn't mean it's bad if you don't use it by that date. That date is meant to let you know that the product, as packaged, is at it's prime until that date, and after that they won't guarantee it will still be as fresh. Most foods don't start going bad that fast. You're safe to eat it.

A lot of products in the grocery market have a "sell by date". The "sell by date" does not mean the product is spoiled. It just measn that the grocery market wanted to get rid of these products before that date cause it's approaching the spoilage date. Most products will last several days past the "sell by date".

Not as fresh-because if you consider, yogurt is fermented on purpose, it takes a long time to actually go bad, like months.

Yogurt is bad even when it's fresh. Yucky! Ice cream is good, try that instead. Remember yogurt Yucky!
