I've been getting migraines since I was 5 and none of the prescrip meds worked, even tried lo dose anti depressants to prevent. Since I've developed a tolerance to most over the counter meds, this is what works for me.
Get a hot pack, Walgreens in the bandaid section, microwave, and take 2 Excedrin Migraine. They do have caffeine and aspirin. So no extra coffee and be ready for your stomach to get a little upset, but if you have a true migraine it will be already. the heat works better for me than cold, just an FYI most recommend cold, makes it worse, lemme know! :) hope that helps

Migraines usually have to run their course.
Take advil (ibuprofen) or tylenol (acetominophne), lie down in a dark quiet room, and try to sleep or rest.
In a few hours, it should pass.
That's about all you can do.

Unfortunately there really is nothing except pain meds. You could ask your doctor for imitrex. I've heard it works, it is a perscription. Good luck
