The fall is filled with bold colors, like warm oranges and yellows. It is good to have a balance of neutral and warm colors. Let the natural landscape of fall foliage help to define your color scheme.
Winter colors are wonderful too! The cooler colors of winter typically are blues and lavenders with neutrals tones again. You can add a sparkle here and there for a snowy touch. It all depends on what your taste is.

I went to a winter wedding once where the colors were antique white and sort of an antiquey looking olive green. It was just beautiful. They went nuts with the flowers and the twinkling lights, but because the colors were so neutral, it didn't look overdone at all--it was gorgeous.

Our wedding was a fall wedding. We held the ceremony outdoors, casual dress, with the colors being beige, tan, dark green and reds. Basically, fall colors. But bright colors like red and pink would probably work also.
For the winter colors, you might want to choose softer colors. I just had a friend get married, and she used silver, white, and baby blue as her colors.
You can also try mixing blues, light and dark, light reds would probably work too.

I absolutely love the thought of Raisin and something like a tangerine/pinkish color... I can't remember the name... Or possibly a Cinnamon color for fall.
Winter wedding... I like the idea of it resembling a nice winter day. Probably an ivory and baby blue for a more blended wedding. If I wanted to go outlandish I'd go with a violet instead of blue.

I'm getting married in September and I'm having a black and white wedding - it looks very classic - i'm having calla lilies for flowers, very simple black strapless dresses with white sashes made out of my dress material for my bridesmaids, black tuxes for the guys. I love the simplicity of it - the thick green stems of the callas add a little punch of color too

For both fall and winter, a rich burgundy or deep red would be lovely.
