**To all you jerks who want to report me for not having a question, I don't care. I just needs to vent a little bit and clear my mind.
Sorry ya'll don't have to read this. I just have nowhere else to really tell anybody anything. I can't tell anything to my mom, because then she blabbers about it to the whole family even when she says she won't. I don't have many friends. I could probably count all my friends on my fingers and still have a few fingers left. I really don't have anyone to lean on anymore. A lot of people still think of me as a "Carefree, little child" but I'm really not. I have a lot of things to worry about. My history teacher hates me because I read during class, but it ain't my fault I already know what he's teaching. My English teachers thinks I have great writing potential, but all I do is write a few lines down about what is happening about my life and dub it a poem. Whatever. I still want to say a lot more...but I'm running out of room...

Sometimes we just got to depend on ourselves because it's hard to trust other people. You shouldn't have to care about what other people think of what you are.
don't let those people run you over.
Hope you'll find someone to talk to.

I won't report you for venting. However, here's a few things to think about so you see the other side of the equation. Don't take it as lecturing, just another perspective:
A few good friends are better than a lot of casual friends. And the ones you have in high school may not be the ones you end up with. You'll make more in college and throughout your life. High school is not forever. Throughout your life, you will be blessed if you make and keep 5 good friends you can count on, share with, and who will love you for yourself and who are more than just party buddies, but sisters of the heart. I was 30 before I met the 5th. And none of them went to high school with me. They are the ones I'd be willing to leave my child to if I died.
You history teacher is older and more experienced than you and probably feels a little insulted that you think you know more than him. Trust me, I was like you in school. I read all the time and ignored my teachers. Throw them a bone now and then, and pretend to pay attention. Remember, they've chosen to teach young minds, which is a pretty thankless job.
Rather than being resentful of being a "carefree, little child", enjoy it. It'll be over too quickly. By carefree child, they mean, you don't have to go to work, you don't have to pay the bills, you don't have to worry about how your child is doing and if they are okay, and you don't have to worry if you are being a good parent.
If your English teachers think you have potential, and you're not really making any effort, you probably do have potential. That's not an insult. It's a compliment.
As for not having anyone to lean on, what about your parents? Believe it or not, they'd probably be THRILLED if you talked to them.
Hope this helps Erika. Goodnight.

Hi Erika. Thanks for sharing. There is a technique involving simply writing whatever is on your mind and then burning the paper. Don't read what you wrote, just write it and burn it. Helps to clear out your head (and heart). Life is what it is and you're learning to deal with it. Good for you. Remember, along the way to learn to love yourself. You are the most important person in your world. If you can love yourself, you can learn to accept life without judgment and enjoy living. You can't control the universe, but you can control how you deal with it. So go forward with eagerness, with an attitude of learning, with a willingness to experience life and whatever it brings. Everything can be a learning experience...or a problem. Your choice.

Erika, you sound a little depressed. This is natural during some stages of being a teenager. I think you should join a voluntary group, get out of the help and help others less fortunate than yourself. Cheer up

I read in all of my classes as well. They stopped caring. I was a bit anitsocial and depressed, then I turned to anime. I started doing fan art to make money and draw my own comics. See, with anime, everyones welcome. You have adults and toddlers; cheerleaders and bookwroms; wierd people and normal.... And everyone accepts evryone. Its great if not a little dorky. www.tokyopop.com
Volunteer. It will make you feel cool and its something you can talk about. brag about. write positively about :) later chick
