Depends on what you consider an insult. Somebody makes a stupid remark and you call them an imbecile. You are just telling the truth. Nothing wrong with the truth. If they take it as an insult that's their problem. Not my responsibility to protect others poor little feelings.

Try to live in peace with all men - Paul the Apostle wrote. The emphasis is on "TRY" ! Jesus Christ insulted more people with the truth because they did not want to hear it ! Instead, they wanted to hear all about how "good" and "righteous" they were apart from a spiritual relationship with God, the Father ! They were self-satisfied but spiritually, bankrupt ! The truth is a stumbling block - a rock of offense to people !!!

No. It makes it all the more important to learn how to deal with people like that without throwing gasoline on the fire.
People are people, though, and if someone insults you, you are likely to be upset by it, and very few people have the wherewithall to cope with stuff like that 100% of the time....

Sorry babe.....if people insults me, I will give him the taste of the medicine too.

I did not say it's ok but some people just need bitter medicine to get better. It's no longer the world of sweet little nothing.

Matthew 7:3-4
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, "Let me take the speck out of your eye," when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

If everyone else jumped into a burning pit, would it make it okay for you to do it? Be a leader, not a follower, all the time!

Depends on whether or not I was insulted first. My religion doesn't require me to turn the other cheek.

No, but it might be a good reason to. ( Partially kidding). I insult on a purely personal stance. FYI.
