Whatever it is that you practice to make it perfect, there is always a time when a certain mishap happens to bring that thing back to imperfection. An almost perfect three pointer shooter like Kobe Bryan would normally miss a two or three aims. So no one is really that perfect all the time.
Have you ever heard of a perfect car that did not stop being operational in time?

Nobody's perfect in the sense of sins. You can play a piano piece perfectly, but you can't live your life so you never once lie, covet, steal, etc etc etc.
"Practice makes perfect" is basically a cliche saying to make kids practice more. It should be changed to "Practice improves" or something.

That's why I like the phrase better, "Practice makes permanent". If you practice a skill incorrectly or sloppily, you get really good at doing it incorrectly or sloppily. No matter how much you do it you won't end up with perfect...unless you're one lucky bastard.

Its just a saying. In time the more you do something the better at it you will become. I doubt anyone actually thinks you will reach perfection.

No matter what you're doing or what you're saying or who you are, you can never be perfect because we're sinners.
