Why would it be pathetic? If it is for religious reasons it makes complete sense. I don't share your views but if that's what makes you happy then go right ahead. I know that I am 20 and there is no way that I would be ready to get married any time soon and if that is what you are waiting on then congratulations. I wish that I had the willpower that you have. If someone truly loves and cares about you it shouldn't matter. Once you find that person everything will fall into place and it will no longer be a problem. What you need to do is stop worrying about what people think, if it bothers you invest all the time you spend worrying into dating and finding that special person.

No, I would not care. This might mean 2 things: 1) You have not yet met the right person for you, and 2) You believe that having sex while you are young won't help you later.
Well done for lasting so long!! Honestly, not many people can do that!

If you are a virgin from conscious choice, that is neither weird nor pathetic. It will, however, be something you are going to have to explain in trying circumstances, probably more than once.

I think that if your a really down to earth kind of guy that shouldnt matter. I kinda think its cute. Most guys are always bragiing about how many girls they've had. I also think that its sweet that your saving yourself. What if you fall in love with a girl who isnt a virgen ever thought about that?

no not at all. I am happy for you i am younger but i am the same way for the same reason my the guy i am dating is 20 and is a virgin too. I was surprised but i am glad he is it makes are relationship not about sex.
