There is no personal name used more often in the bible than the personal name of God (nearly SEVEN THOUSAND TIMES). In fact, Almighty God is referred to as "Jehovah" (or technically as "YHWH") more times than "Father", "Lord", and "God" COMBINED.

The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".

(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth

(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

Jehovah is the true God of the Bible, the Creator of all things. (Revelation 4:11) The prophets Abraham and Moses worshipped him, as did Jesus. (Genesis 24:27; Exodus 15:1, 2; John 20:17) He is the God, not just of one people, but of “all the earth.”—Psalm 47:2.
Jehovah is God’s unique name as revealed in the Bible. (Exodus 3:15; Psalm 83:18) It comes from a Hebrew verb that means “to become,” and a number of scholars suggest that the name means “He Causes to Become.” This definition well fits Jehovah’s role as the Creator and the Fulfiller of his purpose. (Isaiah 55:10, 11) The Bible also helps us to know the Person behind the name Jehovah, especially his dominant quality of love.—Luke 6:35; 1 John 4:8.
The name Jehovah is an English translation of the Hebrew name for God—the four letters יהוה (YHWH), known as the Tetragrammaton. The exact pronunciation of the divine name in ancient Hebrew is not known. However, the form “Jehovah” has a long history in the English language.

Jehovah is God. God is his title and Jehovah his name. How can you possibly get to know someone without knowing their name? His name is written in the Bible over 7000 times.
Psalms 83:18 - That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah,
You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

A few times? He is only the god of the Old Testament is all. His name is hidden in the Bible behind the word LORD in all capital letters. He is also accepted as the Christian God by most Christians. Gnostic Christians however, see him as a lesser false creator god. The God preached by Jesus is seen as a different and Most High God.

15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

The personal name of God. Though scripturally designated be such descriptive titles as God, Lord, Creator, Father, the Almighty, and others, his personality and attributes--who and what he is-- are fully summed up and expressed only in this personal name.--Ps.83:18
