The Sharks are almost toast. So this is a big eco shift!

Do we write and phone companies that carry fish? Check on their sources like the Dolphin free Tuna labels? What?

URGENT!!!!!!!

OK. The ocean has almost no Sharks left in it. This is not a joke it is actually true.

It is creating an eco crisis. The Shark was (not including us idiots) the top preditor in the ocean. Its prey was midsized preditors like Rays and such. Now the Rays and smaller preditors are multiplying out of comntrol and over eating many of the sea creatures we like to eat. Besides which they are starting to creat as much of a problem for these smaller creatures as we have to the Shark. So we are faces a serious problem here.

There is a movie on the disapearance of Sharks comming out soon, hopefully you will see it in the US as well as here in Canada.

There was a married couple just finished a round the world trip where they crossed the ocean in a row boat. TRhey had a lot of cool hight tech stuff, solar panels etc., but they fished all the way. They only saw two sharks the entire time. The fellow talking about his trip said there are hardly any left.

You've got to be careful what you watch. Sharks have always been rare in the ocean, in spite of what you seen on Animal Planet. Many lifelong scuba divers have never seen one. When you do, it's usually an event to be celebrated. It's only in certain very unusual situations would there be more than a solitary shark in a given area. In 35 years of open ocean fishing, I've only hooked one once. and was very happy to let it go.

Um, stop going to hockey games in San Jose? What sharks, exactly? Please forgive me, I don't understand! Is there a company called Sharks? I live in the USA, so I have never heard of it. What do they make? Or is it a store? What are you boycotting? I want to help.
