i'm tryin' to save this program i have in the computer. i'm trying to burn it to a cd so i can use it anywere and also don't loose it if the computer crush. does anyone know how to do this? i have NERO program

the program is adobe premier 6.5 and encore. i lost the cd so i'm trying to save it from the computer. i use NERO to burn cd's

You can make ghost images of your HD so when your computer crash then you just put that images back and it should be like what you have right now.

You didn't mention if the program is a stand-alone file or a complete program like a game. If it's a game, then you may not get the needed files as some of the files may have been placed in the registry when it was installed.
If it's just a file,it's much easier to use Windows explorer to drag & drop it to the CD.(provided you have a formatted CD in the drive.)

You need the install disk(s) to be able to transfer a program. You cannot copy an installed program and have it work on another computer. The only exception to that is, if you clone a second HDD with True Image.

If you have Nero problem then remove nero & reinstall nero and then try to burn the cd.Make sure that you write properly or not.

Not possible that way.

Norton Cleansweep used to have an "archive program" function. It was too powerful, Norton stopped making it.
