no, only the ones that can't be backed up by secular reasoning as well, just like we've been doing for around 230 years. Read John Locke's Two treatise on govt, it had a big influence on Jefferson's Declaration of Independence. He laid out religious and then secular reasons for all his arguments.

Why not put it up for a vote? I personally feel more secure living in a society where the laws are based upon biblical and ethical morality. Don't you?

There are no laws in my country based on biblical morality. I live in the USA. Our laws are based on English Common Law which got its roots in Saxon law. Saxon law predates the concoction of christinanity.

Murder, rape, theft, and bodily harm are the only things the government has any business regulating. You don't need Biblical morality to know these are the things that are truly wrong. Everytning else--who people have sex with, whether or not people recieve money in exchange for sex, what substances people put in their own bodies, etc. are personal choices we don't need the government making for us.

Do you mean the British common law system? What system of law do you mean? So much as has already been thrown out that our society is crumbling away as there's such a dehuminizing factor in our lives now since the whole element of truth and love of God has been tossed aside.

i say do away and ban all of the new testament this is the cause of all problems in the world today keep the old and torah for wisdom and knowledge but the new one is crazy and sick to even read!
