i am a hairstylist , and yes it is illegal for us to cut your hair .

Not illegal, but a beautician must be careful of her equipment and the possibility of giving that lice to the next customer. She could be sued for that. She has every right to refuse to cut your hair until you have been treated.

I was wondering the same thing!! All my little cousins had head lice once and every time they went to try to get their hair cut, they always got rejected.

No, They can cut your hair if you have lice. Who ever told you that needs to be slapped. What does lice have to do with cutting hair.

Its not illegal, but they have the right to refuse service to anyone, so they will/might refuse you.
