Not sure what "Plan B" is ... however ...

A minor's parents are legally obligated to shoulder the liability for the minor's actions. If the child is carried to term and the mother or mother's guardians wish to have child support then the boy and/or his parents must pay.

On another note. The boy made the baby, the boy needs to step up and be responsible. Why should only the female be held liable for the sexual act?

Personally, I think the world would be a much better place if this responsibility were taken more seriously. Far too many children are born to single mothers who "don't want to bother" the sperm donor. ... and then turn around and ask the rest of society to help raise, feed, clothe and shelter the child.

I would believe so, but I do see the points of some of the others. Its harder to say who is the father. Its not legal in California. If a girl gets an abortion the law stated the parents should be notified, but the court threw the law out.

YES! I don't think it's fair that only the girl has to go through the embarrassment, pain, trauma and emotional suffering. She can't make a baby by herself. It's only fair that all "parents" need to be notified.

Absolutly.....she didn't get pregnant alone. Just like the girls parents....the minor childs parents are going to have to take some responsibility in this as well.

The boy is the father and has rights, the boys parents are the childs grandparents, they have rights.

yes he is a minor and still legally his parents responsibility. therefor anything he does wrong the parents potentially must answer for. It is ridiculous to treat a minor like an adult. the only reason the kid wouldn't want his parents to find out is because he would get introuble. to him i would say, tough s*** thats life. you f*** up and you pay for it. if you want to be treated like an adult act like one and take credit for your actions.

I think so. If he is going to act responsible of having unprotected sex. Then he should be responsible enough to tell his parents.
Hopefully this taught him a lesson.

In a word YES. It takes two to tango and make that baby and therefore both are equally responsible.

Yes. He has to take responsibility just as much as the girl.

yep,

equal rights call for equal accountability. the boys should have just as much notoriety (in our society we respond with disdain) for the pregnancy.

It takes two to tangle.
