No it's not. It's the heinous murder of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians by American forces in Iraq. Thousand of men, women, and children are being butchered daily by American troops and you even have American soldiers going into Iraqi citizen's homes and ransacking their property and then thanking them for their "Hospitality". Then you have American forces raping innocent Iraqi girls. Abusing their positions of power. I think the USA needs to get out and stay out of the Middle East before they ruin more people's lives. Let the Iraqis sort themselves out or let the Middle East deal with Iraq and Afghanistan.

That really depends on who's morale's. Saddam was a evil dictator. Bush did not have all the rights to go after him. The UN failed to do anything to stop Saddam. The problem is there society is not civilized. Germany, Japan and other conquered nations allowed the west to rebuild them. In time we left. The terrorist are to stupid to realize that. If they only stooped fighting us we would go away.

History will be the judge. If Iraq turns around in a few years. Bush will be a hero for re-shaping the middle east. If its a complete failure then he will be considered as one of the worst Presidents.

Justified? Well by what standards?

"all evil needs to flourish is for good men to do nothing."
if this is your standard then yes. Assuming you believe the west in generally good(as i do)

'Violence is wrong no matter what. A nation does not have a right to attack unless its attacked'..... then NO

My 2 cents is that Pacifism does NOT work sooner or later the mad man gets a gun or a plane or a nuke.

This particular war is harder to accept because of all the civilian casualties. However, your view of moral justification depends on how you feel about the threat posed by Al-Qaeda and other terrorist networks.

If you feel that they are not a serious threat or that we have crippled their network enough, then you probably don't agree with our presence in Iraq.

If you watch the news and see how Al-Qaeda murders innocent civilians throughout Afghanistan, Iraq, and now Morocco, you will learn that they feel it's necessary in order to remove our presence from the area. They want to crush whatever support we have from the locals. Now that many North African countries have allied themselves with the U.S. in the fight on terror, they are becoming the next targets to undermine our support and send a message to others that are thinking about cooperating.

It's a big mess. It's a difficult decision to wage war the way we have. EVERY WAR has its mistakes, no doubt about that. This one is definitely not pretty and anti-war protests always grow with time. Thank God we have a society that allows that opinion to be publicly displayed, and I like to believe that that's what we're fighting to preserve.

My 2¢

all people knew it was unlawful while Blair twisted it and Conservatives supported the war on the 2nd. This was the view of Lib-Dems for in any respect circumstances. Lord Goldsmith admitted it replaced into now not authorized on the 2nd besides the undeniable fact that he replaced into silenced Few top politicians like Robin prepare dinner, Clair short and Galloway attempt to protest besides the undeniable fact that each and each guy or woman, British fools listened to Blair. yet certainty could prevail.

Radical, facist Islam continues to attack and behead Christians, Jews, and everyone that does not believe that God is Allah and Muhammed is His prophet. I'm pretty sure they flew planes into the twin towers and killed 3000 and caused economic distress issues here in the US. Plus the attacks that Clinton did nothing about. Not to mention Lebanon and Israel, geesh... What- we're not supposed to defend ourselves and our interests? Thats called France.

No, it is not. It was one mans personal vendetta blown well out of proportion. The US failed in Vietnam, what makes them think that they can do any better in the Middle East? Everything they've ever done under the guise of "helping" other nations has failed miserably, atleast when they were nuking women and children there was an open reason to hate their government.
