do u guys think that the selected airplane now and which was won the competition, was selected long years ago, and gived order to other competitor to make worse airplane than the selected one?? or in other words in fact is conspiracy!!!!?

Lockheed Martin has a long history of making excellent aircraft. Then again, so does Boeing. I'm sure it was a tough call. But, I heard that one of the deciding factors was that Lockheed would likely have gone broke without the JSF contract.
Not a conspiracy, but politics got in there.

Sorry, But Lockheed is one awesome company. It has no rivals in this day, for McDonnell is gone, and Northrop can't compete with Lockheed. You are looking at the Top Dog in the air defense and space technology feild.

I was a fighter pilot, and Lockheed makes some of the best weapons platforms there are. They always have.
