Theoritically it could be possible, what would you think some reasons would be?

Im looking for Channa who seems not to have read Josephus the greatest Jewish historian that claims in his antiquities of the Jewish war that the Christ did die.

I could mention many more writers from the time period.

a true Christian, who has accepted Jesus as their savior... wouldnt become Jewish as that would be denying Christ after accepting Him.... but of course, there are the 'pew christians'... those who just attend church cuz they 'should' and havent chosen Jesus as their Savior yet....

any person can become Jewish.... but no one outside the descendants of Jacob can be an Israelite.... Jew does not = Israelite...

someone who is a 'Jew' would be any person that follows Judaism

Israelite is anyone that is a direct descendant of the 12 tribes of Jacob/Israel

(Just noticed that some are a little confused about that)

yes, you could convert. I think it's hard to answer this question and still be respectful to Jews. There's a wide diversity of belief amongst Jews. Most Jews believe you can't believe in Christ and be Jewish because by definition you would be Christian. The Jewish concept of messiah is totally different than the christian Messiah. Sometimes Christians interpret the Jewish Bible in a way that doesn't respect it's tradition. I really wish more Jewish people would chime in because I can't do this justice. But my final answer is if a Christian stopped believing in Jesus as God then they could convert and they might want to. I recommend a book called How Judaism Differs(I think) or What I Wish My Christian Friends Knew About Judaism or something like that.

One that was not born Jewish does not have Hebrew roots. A Jew has specific religious beliefs through heritage. A non-Jew that converts
to Judaism does not have the same heritage. If we embrace their Hebrew roots and traditions, will the Jewish people, people who do
not accept Jesus Christ or the New Testament, then accept us?

Colossians 2:6-9:
"As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him: Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye
have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily."

Hhhmmm....traditions of man? Could a gentile that seeks to find roots in their non-existent Hebrew background be falling into a trap such as this? Could they be looking at the traditions, rather than
at the Saviour who is Jesus the Christ?

Galatians 3:26-29?
"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs
according to the promise. "

Acts 4:12:
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Of course it's possible. The person would have to study under the guidance of an ordained rabbi for a couple of years (see link, provided below). As for the reasons, well, those vary with each person, don't they? However, "because I want to marry a Jew" isn't accepted as the lone reason.

Once a person converts to Judaism, they are as Jewish as if they had been born a Jew.

yes, christians can convert to Judaism.

why? because they come to understand it is true.

but do keep in mind you can't have both. its one or the other, you CANNOT believe in Jesus and be jewish. some will tell you otherwise but they are incorrect.

and unlike some say, yes, Jewishness DOES rely on wether you practice it or not, at least as much as believing in God, which excludes beliving in jesus as the messiah.

for the question about it... its not htat jesus did not exist or die, but that he was not more than a man. to judaism he was NOT more than a Man, and to alledge that he was more divine than you or I would be idolotorous.

(Aw, crikey, Esther! What happens to those who convert to Christianity even though their families aren't Christian? Do you see the utter HYPOCRISY yet?)

Absolutely. It is not an easy process but it can be done by anyone who speaks with a rabbi. In my opinion, one can be converted without ever actually having to go through the literal process. It's all dependent upon belief.

Yes, but why on earth anyone would want to do it. Unless religion, traditions and your own performance are more important than following the truth.

Jesus was Jew. He did not ask us to become Jews. He asked us to get baptized and share Gospel to everyone and have everyone baptized in the name of Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, for forgiveness of their sins.

When Jews want to make it by law, they will set themselves for a failure. No one can make it by law. Because if you break even one law, you are a law breaker. Jews believe that they are God's chosen people because they received the Law and Jesus was born among them. Law is just showing us the trouble we are in, we all need Jesus to get out of trouble. God just simply kept His promise. Good luck by making it to heaven by law. : )

the conversion process it very hard...

I did it...

The main reason would be because they wanna follow G-d and not worship an idol :)

ok so he died?.... Does that make him the sun of G-d? NO. He dies Toot Toot good for him... Dead people have a tendancy to stay dead.

and the only book people need to read in this regard is the Tanach but I could name many more.

Yes, it's possible. But I hear it's very hard. Reason? coz some people obviously find that christianity is polytheistic and wanna be with one G-d.

If you are born of a Jewish mother, you remain a Jew,even if you follow another religion.Jewishness does not depend on whether you practice Judaism or not, although the religion, culture, and ethnicity are all closely tied.

If they turn their back on Jesus, yes. A person never becomes a Jew if they were not born into a Jewish family. They can convert to Judaism, but will never be an actual Jew. To convert to Judaism, a Christian would have to renounce faith in Jesus as their Messiah.
