1) We've alienated many countries by not working through the UN and taking unilateral actions
2) We've worn down our military (particularly the Army)
3) We've further destabilized the Middle East
4) We've provided a brand new, very large, very close to home, training ground for Islamic terrorists groups
5) We've embroiled ourselves in the middle of a sectarian insurgency because of our failure to neither forsee nor prepare for such an occurance once Saddam and the Ba'ath Party were removed from power
6)We've spent far too much time, effort, money, etc, concerning ourselves with Iraq when there's far more pressing problems that need to be addressed at home.
SPC Matt is an absolute fool if he thinks Iraq is a much better place now than before we invaded. Oh, wait a minute, *maybe* it's a much better place for somebody..........besides the Iraqis themselves? Oh, yeah, it's a much better place for terrorists...........
Oh, and I would really appreciate gregory_dittman letting me know what his sources are. I know for a fact that Iraq does not have providences...........the administrative divisions of Iraq are the 18 muhafazah (governorates).

Eventual World War will diminish populations, Bush and Cheney will have more money, US citizens will stay addicted to foreign planetary juice, planetary juice will continue to burn up the atmosphere, ice caps will continue to melt, pollution will not be a real concern, Muslim children by the millions will vow suicidal revenge on America (target the Yankee Jew Neocons, please), Russia and/or China will check the US, worldwide hatred of the US will be more intense, US tourists will be murdered more frequently, foreign enemies will seek justice against the US, US military and police will become more nazi-like and abusive to US citizens, govenment will increase its spying and big brother control, etc., etc., etc.,

The U.S. completed 85% of the infrastructure projects it set out to do, trained over 500,000 Iraqis (police and soldiers) to keep on fighting after the U.S. pulls out (which should be fully supplied in June 2007). Meanwhile providences have been turned over to the Iraqi government (Iraq has 18 providences).

You would not accept any answer I could post. Ignorance is bliss.
Please, keep in mind that EVERY war has been hated while it was being fought, nothing new. War is not nice, but often it is necessary, and the true results don't show up for many years until the conflict is over. I know it is impossible for young people to understand this, but some day you will.

Instigating countries into choosing whether to ally or become an enemy... much more deaths (in fact more Americans (since we're talking about them) died in Iraq than in 9/11)... does anyone really sleep peacefully knowing that their countrymen are dying just because a person wants revenge?
Oh... and oil? :-)
