He used to be able to watch a short video or play with toys for a little while, while I did a chore, or checked my Email. But, lately it seems impossible to hold his attention (even if I AM sitting with him, playing) Even at the park he seems ...uninterested. Is it possible for a 2 year old to be "bored with life"
We always go out and play at the local park or Aquarium, go to the library, go to the big sandbox... etc... He also has playdates with other kids. He is not sick....

sounds like you are always making entertainment for him rather than letting him make his own entertainment. Kids this age do not get bored if they are allowed to expand on their imaginations. You are not letting this happen as you fill his days in for him. Let him stay home with his toys and allow him to play by himself. If he can't do this it will get harder for you as he gets older.

Have him help you with your chores. He might be tired of the "norm" and need a little change. Plus having him help shows him a sense of responsibility.
