Most people are born into a religion. It is usually ingrained so that it takes a lot to change their mind about their belief.
It may convert some people but many would not except Jesus as their Messiah and it was Prophesy he would come. This even when he was a Jew standing in front of them. He won many debates with the priests of the temple. It did not turn a lot of Jews to his ideology just because he won a few discussions. Rev. TomCat

Only Protestants and Muslims are always eager for a debate, The Catholics were trained to stay away from those kind and only few unauthorized Catholics are oftenly found to be engaging in the debate. The Jews on the other hand are not so keen about that because God is never a subject of debate for them. They are not interested so much in evangelization so they do things on their own.

I doubt it. I don't think many people would believe it. That and a debate is won with reason. and religion isn't big on reason.
