You missed something:

The place called Eden has actually been discovered, and we've known about it for somewhere between 75 and 150 years when the Uruk clay tablets were discovered and then others were found after.

If you go to http://cdli.ucla.edu/ you can use their search engine to find the tablets. Search for both "eden" and "edin". You'll find the name mentioned about 230 times on tablets dating from about 2800 to 1800 BC.

The name refers to a grassland located just south of where the Tigris and Euphrates come together. The cuneiform symbol for the name is two rivers and a stalk of wheat.

The name in Sumerian means "house of life" or "house of wine". Sumerian ideograms can be translated here:

clever: The Garden was a physical place called Eden and it was planted on a side of a mountain - not a plain or a field. In the Book of Revelation, t the Tree of Life will, once again, be an reality (Revelation, Chapter 22) . The garden of Eden has long since, gone the way of decay. And yes, the Bible is true - that's why it has survived for millenia after millenia.

I am under the impression that God took the Garden off the world. The Tree of Life was in the midst of the Garden. It went with the Garden of Eden.

well seing as im not a christian im inclined to say there was never a garden of eden or a tree of life but, i went to a christian school for 5 years (part of the reason im not a christian anymore) and a preacher said it may have been found in china. i doubt that but maybe u could consider mesopotamia the garden of eden, it is the place that civilization started in and if i remember right it is still the most fertile land in the world. so think what you want ill still belive there wasnt an eden anyways so u still have the right to belive there was

since Genesis is most likely an allegory, I have my doubts it actually existed in real-life. But if you believe it's all true, then perhaps God took it. Doesn't the Bible say something about humanity banned from the Garden?
interesting fact: there is or was a tree in Bahrain, I believe, called the Tree of Life, that is locally believed to have ties to the Garden

what happened to adam and eve? in the bible adam was taken in the fiery chariot to heaven by michael the seventh angel. then in revelations the 144,000 people in heaven followed nebuchadnezzar back to paradise. he is the same soul as michael by the way. so now adam lives here in paradise till judgement day. as for eve she was punished to atlantis or the zion main frame as the matrix movie calls it. where she dwells in spirit form as the oracle and works incognito with the angels and readies the dead for rebirth or reincarnation. she is very nice and very beautiful. she looks like demi moore on the movie ghost. the location of the garden can be found if you look in the right books. though im not sure how important that really is. whats important is that they miss eachother and they are very real souls. even to this day............

Strictly my opinion.

The Garden of Eden is a parable designed to teach us about temptation and the consequences of not resisting it, IE being cast from paradise such as an addiction. In other words it teaches us the importance of self control.

The Book of Revelation describes the Garden again in the New Heaven and the New Earth. It is now in heaven awaiting a purified earth. The Tree of Life is there.

After Adam and Eve were thrown out of the garden a angel with a flaming sword was set to protect it from anyone finding it, it's there you just can't find it.
