In a nation where premarital sex is illegal, how are students in the United States pushing the limits?

Romance is not all about sex. There are a ton of ways to be romantic, without having sex; people do it all the time. Plus, last I checked, premarital sex is not illegal here; if so, a lot of people would be in jail right about now.

Your question makes no sense. "Pushing the limits?" Are you kidding? People are free here to do what they want. Romance is encouraged, not discouraged.
So I am to presume that you are in a nation where premarital sex is illegal. Man, that is so fuc ked up, I don't even have the words to tell you, except that it is better to be in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, or just about anyplace else on the globe than where you are. I'm sorry, I know you can't control where you were born and live. It's the luck of the draw. But you do have a brain and the ability, if you work hard enough, to get the hell out of there. Good luck!

Unfortunately there are no laws in the States that forbid premarital sex. Your question was about romance. There is a difference in romance and SEX.

Dating does not equal premarital sex.
Dating is supposed to be time to get to know each other, before giving the other person the most intimate part of you.
Lots of people do it, but they have the wrong idea of what dating is.

I don't understand your question--are you saying the US law states that premarital sex is illegal, and how do students get around that?? Sex underage is illegal, but sex between consenting adults is not. Please rephrase

Romance and love are far, far different from sex. It is very easy to separate the two if one is willing to try.
