Most likely he will be killed the way John F. Kennedy died if not the same way as Martin Luther King. He will not be killed by the Romans but FBI under Hoover in the States, by the Mossad if he was in Tel Aviv, By Al Qaeda if he lived in Afghanistan (Osama will greatly envy him) and by the agents assigned to murder Diana if he lived in London.

Yes, Absolutely. The written word of God states that a Saviour would come, etc...so yes. He would have still been crucified. He was the sacrificial lamb and none other could have washed away our sins.
Now, if you are wondering would the ppl have thought He was a threat...well that is very doubtful.

No, he would be put in a mental hospital. That or he would be put to death for treason. He would not be hung on a cross unless he got into the wrong hands. However I think that Plato's quote should be mentioned. " If ever a man who is truly just shall come into the world, he will be pinned to a cross for all the world to see."

pot: You may have intended this question in jest - but it is a very relevant question. If Jesus would have come today, the religious legalistic crowd would of turned on Him and killed Him themselves ! His message was one of grace and sad to say, there are far too many people claiming an engagement to religion, who would of hated Him for undermining their belief systems with God, the Father's !

It depends. If he was vocal loudmouth insurgent who demanded that the Western White invaders leave his ME homeland he'd at least be branded a terrorist and locked up in Guantanamo Bay; if not tortured to death and martyred like he was the first time for subversion.
But if he just went around muttering that he was God....well everybody does that.

I don't believe they would have. That is why he came 2000 years ago. That civilization was the only one that were at a point where they would kill their God. God knew this and that is why he sent Jesus at that specific time.

Well, he would probably have beer instead of wine and we would call him a hippy. Good thing it was 2000 years ago, huh?

He might have died interior an identical way that prophecy foretold. Prophecy mandatory to be fulfilled. besides the undeniable fact that, your question is exciting. My concepts on why human beings positioned on a pass around their necks is that it is too perplexing to depict the "empty tomb" on a bite of jewellery. reward.

1) he would be no threat to the governing body.
2) the jews do not currently have the inclination nor power to even want someone executed for violating even the worst of God's Laws, (which jesus did)

I don't know of any countries that have crucifixion as a form of capital punishment. Guess His timing was perfect, in a holy way.
