You can't wait, huh? First of all, you probably will not live to see it. People have been thinking that the world will end for the past 2,000 years. But if you do, you will not be pleased to see it. I will say only that much, because it does not seem that you believe what the Bible says, and if I quoted the Bible you will probably disregard it completely. But I am warning you. The key to salvation is simply believing that you are a sinner, and that there is a God who was willing to send His only Son to save you.

That would depend on what you mean by life and death. Man holds the key to his own life and death in most cases and it is our own actions that cause one to live or one to die.
In the final or eternal sense, only God has that power.

you are responsible for life and how long you want to live
smoking? drinking? eating garbage? not exercising? these are some things that shorten your lifetime..
also not wearing seatbelts
Bad luck shortens your life too...
you hold the keys to extending your life but no one lives forever. on this mortal world anyway
