I know I need to test my blood to find out but I haven't. (I'm seventeen by the way, can I donate blood already?) So lets try to make a logical guess. My dad has some type of Rh blood and my mom is A+. So whats your prediction?

Thanks you guys for letting me know the details about blood. I guess I'll just have to wait till my dad donates some blood or until the day I do it myself.

Sorry, no way to even hazard an educated guess from the information you provided. The Rh is not a blood type, it is a blood factor. A person's Rh is always negative or positive. For example...your mom is A+ meaning her blood type is A and her Rh is positive. If you can find out, and post an addendum stating your dad's blood type, I can help.

There are eight basic blood types, and if you only know that your mom has A+ you could have ANY of the other types. She may carry a recessive O- gene, which if you got that gene you'd have whatever blood type your dad has. Rh is not a type, that the Rhesus factor, or the + or - after the letter. The basic types are A, B, AB, and O, each with a + or -.

You are most definitely B+ considering the fact that each you are moms and dads are Bs and the constructive is dominant over the terrible. The best manner you'll be able to be an O is that if either one of your moms and dads are O providers.
